Holy Sh*t! Did you see the end of the Portugal-Croatia match? With seconds to go, the Crows’ tying goal was disallowed on a hairline ruling. Heartbreaking even tho I was rooting for the Ports. But dems da breaks.

Special shoutout to the great folks (and chef) at Tavern 23 in Poughkeepsie. It’s a must if you’re in the area. So friendly. Great burgers and fish tacos. Great craft beer selection (burp!).

After we settled up, I told the waitress we were up from Jersey and always stop in when we’re nearby because we love it so much. She said, Hold on a sec, and went behind the bar and got us two tokens for free drinks. How great is that!

Snuck in a nice walk after bkfst, before the temp hit 90. On to the B’shires today. Can’t wait to see Emma the owl, newly fixed up by owl-meistress Jenny.
